Contemporary Art Academy is an educational initiative running online courses for practicing artists. 

Who are the Contemporary Art Academy tutors? 
Our tutors are leading practitioners in their field. They have exceptional combined experience as practicing artists, curators, gallerists, art writers, magazine editors and educators.  

Who are your courses for? 
Our courses are for practicing artists. We invite you to read our course descriptions and if you think the course is for you, enrol. 

Is this course suitable for all artists?
We welcome artists working in all disciplines. We embrace diversity and welcome artists of all ages. Our courses function as a top-up for practicing artists or as an alternative to postgraduate studies.  

Is this for UK artists only? 
No. Classes are conducted in English, but we welcome all artists globally.  

Do I need a Fine Art qualification? 
No. We welcome those with qualifications as well as self-taught artists. 

Is there an application process? 
No. Once we confirm availability you will be expected to upload required assets according to our instructions.  

How long are your courses? 
Most courses are 8 weeks with one session per week.  

When do your sessions take place?

How do I join the online class once I have purchased? 
You will be sent a Zoom link via email the week before your class.
