
Course Description
CRITICAL CONTEXT (PG2) enables artists to deepen the understanding of their practice and write an artist statement, edited by a professional art journalist. You will explore the art historical and contemporary context of your practice by participating in tutor led crits, group discussions, a 1-2-1 review, artist talk and professional practice seminar. Participants are encouraged to contribute to group discussions in crits and seminars. Underpinned by Artist and Professional Practice seminars. Critical Context is available only to artists who have completed Personal Practice.
