Course Description
PERSONAL PRACTICE (PG1) enables artists to create new work within a critically engaged, supportive community. Guided by leading practitioners, participants gain insight through 1-2-1 critiques, group discussions, and professional seminars. The course fosters artistic growth, peer connection, and professional confidence—culminating in new work and progression to CRITICAL CONTEXT (PG2). Key outcomes include:
- 1-2-1 crit with lead artist
- Group discussion with lead artist and peer group
- Artwork feedback from established industry professionals and peer group
- Critical Context seminar with established artworld professional
- Professional Practice seminar with established artworld professional
- Peer group chat forum

PERSONAL PRACTICE (PG1) is for:
- Practicing artists
- Those working in all contemporary art disciplines
- All nationalities (sessions conducted in English)
- Art College graduates and self-taught artists
- Ages 18+ and at any stage in their careers
After registration artists will need to provide the following assets:
- 6 jpegs of recent works
- Artist statement (max 200 words)
- Artist CV (including education and exhibitions)
- Contact details (email, Instagram, website)
