The sublime is a concept that re-emerges and is reimagined throughout cultural history and over hundreds of years. We will take an in-depth look at the ideas and art that are inspired by the grand and overwhelming, the immense and terrifying. By looking at a selection of artists we will explore how the sublime remains relevant in the cultural imagination right now.
