Course Description

MASTERCLASS_PERSONAL PRACTICE is designed to support Valissa Butterworth in advancing her professional practice, expanding her visibility within the contemporary art world, and building confidence in navigating professional networks.

Key outcomes include:

Developing a clear roadmap for professional growth and gallery engagement.

Building visibility and networks across Melbourne, Sydney, and internationally.

Strengthening critical context and discourse around her practice.

Integrating collaborative and cross-disciplinary elements, particularly sound.

This bespoke programme will focus primarily on Professional Practice, interspersed with Critical Context and Personal Practice sessions, to ensure holistic development aligned with Valissa’s ambitions.

Masterclass is £95 per session (paid monthly by subscription for the duration of the programme).

Padlet

We use Padlet as our course interface. Once you register you will receive a link to your course Padlet. Here you will find all relevant course documents including TIMETABLE which contains the Zoom session links. You will also find your own column where you can upload images and documents. Zoom

We use the Zoom platform for live sessions. You will find the link to each session posted in your course TIMETABLE on Padlet. There are two ways to access the live session:

1. Via the Zoom app
Before joining a Zoom meeting on a computer or mobile device, you can download the Zoom app here or here or here. Otherwise, you will be prompted to download and install Zoom when you click the Zoom session link on TIMETABLE.

2. Via Google Chrome Browser
If you are using Google Chrome, you will see a dialogue box inviting you to launch the Zoom app.
