OVERVIEW
For practicing artists wishing to develop new work in a critically supportive environment. SUMMER SCHOOL (PGSS) is an intensive 8-week course combining elements from across Contemporary Art Academy’s Development Programme (PG). SUMMER SCHOOL (PGSS) enables artists to receive direction from leading practitioners in their field and establish a mutually supportive peer group of fellow artists. Underpinned by Artist Talk, Critical Context and Professional Practice seminars. SUMMER SCHOOL (PGSS) includes:
- Group crit with Lead Artist
- Group crit with leading commercial gallerist
- Artwork feedback from established industry professionals, art collector and peer group
- Artist Talk
- Critical Context seminar with established artworld professional
- Professional Practice seminar/workshop with established artworld professional
- Peer group chat forum
- Access PERSONAL PRACTICE (PG1)
SUMMER SCHOOL (PGSS) is for:
- Practicing artists
- Those working in all contemporary art disciplines
- All nationalities (sessions conducted in English)
- Art College graduates and self-taught artists
- Aged 18+ and at any stage in their careers
After registration artists will need to provide the following assets:
- 3 jpegs of artworks
- Contact details (email, Instagram, website)
