Course Description

This Acrylic Painting Course will focus on light. Painting beams and rays, reflections and refractions, studying interesting and unusual lighting situations and strong contrasts. We will look closely at the quality, temperature and intensity of light sources. We will create interior and exterior scenes, artificial and natural light and a combination of both alongside lighting effects and the powerful ability of using light to create mood and ambience.

Materials

• A3 pad of acrylic paper
• 3 10×12 canvasses
• Set of acrylic paints in primary colours, black and white plus a mixing white and fluorescent orange
