Contemporary Art Academy provides courses for artists at all stages in their careers. Our DEVELOPMENT (PG) courses are for artists who maintain a studio practice and want to advance their practical, critical and professional capabilities. DISCOVERY courses are for all artists looking to explore the creative process and develop new ways of making and thinking. INSTRUCTIONAL courses are for all artists wishing to learn or develop technical skills. Our TALKS PROGRAMME invites all artists and non-artists to attend a monthly conversation and Q&A with established artworld professionals.
DEVELOPMENT Courses (PG)
8-week courses for practicing artists wishing to develop their work in a critically supportive environment.

Personal Practice (PG-1)
For artists wishing to develop their current practice in a discussion based environment. Completion unlocks CRITICAL CONTEXT (PG-2).

Critical Context (PG-2)
Enables artists to develop new work within a research context and write a new artist statement. Graduates access PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE (PG-3).

Professional Practice (PG-3)
Artists develop their professional capacity towards a public online group exhibition.
DISCOVERY Courses
6-week practical courses encouraging artists to explore and develop new ways of making and thinking. Open to all disciplines and artists at any stage of their career.
